I have a 67 gtx, 440,727. The trans has the two little arms for kickdown linkage, and for shifter. I have a throttle cable that'll work. That's it. Carb is a Holley 770 street avenger on an edelbrock perf rpm. What is my best option for kickdown linkage and throttle cable and associated brackets? New or used? What all do I need?

Not the best pic but I go the silver bracket to raise the cable up to the correct position from AR Engineering, you can buy then through Mancini Racing just call them and tell them what you have, good prices too.

Here's the factory set up from 68'. Pretty much identical to 67'.

Might shed some light on it for ya.

Good luck!

If your are not worried about being factory correct the locar throttle cable and cable kick down kit is easy and clean. very simple to hook up and adjust.
