I got a call from a friend of a friend who knows a guy that wants to buy my 74Charger...You know how it go's lol....Any way, I wasn't looking to sell it but I guess if the money is rite any thing is for sale. The car is very solid but scruffy. It will need both front 1/4 floor pans to fix it rite.It will also need both lower rear 1/4s fixed up along with a total repaint and tune up for a driver...Rebuild for a show car lol.
It's a factory 400hp/slap stick/bench seat car the 400ci is long gone but it has a running/driving 1970 440 in it's place. Front and rear sway bars,8 3/4 one wheel peel.

Since I got the car I've picked up some parts for it that were missing:
Front bumper and brackets
Mint ralley cluster
Rear valance
both grills
Tan rear seat
Tan interior panels
Trunk lid
Here are some pic's.

Still missing the rear bumper/brackets/tail lights.
The trunk/rails are in very good shape.

I forgot to add he is an Auto body shop manager for Chrysler so he knows what he is in for.

ok,what i would pay and what you would be comfortable as a selling price is always going to be different, but IMO i would probably go in the $1500-2000 range but it is a big block car so that is a plus. i did not reply to your thread to insult you and apologize if i did. i just try to buy a car knowing what i will have to put into into it to make a driver.

Hey not a problem.I've bought a few B-bodies and have a good idea of what it's worth but with all the people still out of jobs and people holding on to every cent they can the cars just don't have as much value.I was thinking of tossing in some stuff and asking $3000.00can and go from there But I think your in the ball park as it sits.Thank's :) any one else want to add?

No less than 2500 - id say - imo- im sure he gets a deal on body pannels
You could part it out for at least that

Hey, is this where the WIWs go?

Maybe that's why I only got one reply to the WIW I posted in 66-70.

I hear ya about parting. Funny how the economy hasn't broght down the price of factory buckets or tracks, be they any 66-74 style.

A couple of yeras ago, I paid 1500 for mine, but it needs both quarters, rear floors, work on the doors and fenders, a frame patch and the trim for the top put back on.

I'd pay 2-3K for one with good quarters, depending on other stuff.

Yours don't look too bad.

Hmmm, you might have inadvertently pointed out a great idea for me :)
If I cut him a good deal on the car all he has to do is give me his discount on parts I need to make up the difference. ;)

2-3k huh, you got Paypal lol.

It was nice out today so I went out to the shop and tinkered with the Charger. It runs but not very well.I installed new plugs and realized that the old owner had silicone the dist cap on and crossed all the plug wires lol. I pulled the cap and saw it was all rusted inside so I swapped out the distributor and she runs like a top now.I couldn't believe it, I had a hard time keeping the tread on the tires :)
