does the box have any part number on it if so just google the part number ,wonder if it could be a industrial tach :eusa_think:have you tried sun's web site :eusa_think:

If it's for a gas motor, it would be for something old like an M37 military truck or most any old Dodge Power Wagon. Think flathead.

if this a SUN SST-808 Tach its a 6cylinder 12 volt neg. ground 4000 RPM with a 3 3/8 dia. theres one on ebay for sale around 79.99 right now , I believe most military tachs where 24 volt -? :thinker:

you can also go to H.A.M.B. site and see one

Yup yup, you're right on the 24V.

Reminds me of the tachs in the little panels in the rear of one of the 1970s American cranes i run.

Could also be a marine application. Or maybe an industrial engine like on a generator?
