Any rr pics out there painted f-3 green and white decals ?

Hi .. Getting ready to send my 71 ssp out for paint and looking to see how the f-3 green would look with white rr decals . I cant seem to find any pictures to get an idea ..

well i found a 71 with f-3 sherwood green .. wonder how this color would look with the white roadrunner decals over the top and from the hood over fender :eusa_think:

I have these pics of an f7 sherwood green RR in my files, I have seen pics of a 71 charger with f3 and black R/T stripes that looks cool toward the last pages of the "show your 71-4" thread, cant find anything with white. I think the white "Plymouth" lettering looks good on your car, so i would imagine the whit stripes would really pop.

Are you putting the vinyl top back on? If i do i will probably go with a black top. However, I am leaning against putting mine back on. love the clean look of that SSP you posted above.

Hi .. Ya i like that one too .. I been saveing them pics also .... I just seen that car on cragslist a short time ago .. I wish i would have emailed the guy and asked the color 4 sure .... Are you sure that is f7 sherwood for sure ?
Thanks ... My car is or was f3 somone years ago sprayed like a very very light coat of a darker over it and is mostly wore off and faded off now ..
So far the plan is too replace the vinyl but nothing in stone ..
I didnt think i would be getting it painted for some time but my friend from anoka offered me a deal and is going to take it for the winter and ill get it back in may
so any changes i need to decide within a couple weeks so now im panicing looking for a good color to match my door jams and all

Very nice looking cars! Good luck to you rog_allen, hope it turns out better then expected, really sounds like a good color with the white stripes.. It wont help you but i seen a Cuda that was painted emerald green with white stripes and white interior and although the Cuda is not one of my favorite choices of cars, this one had me drooling just a bit, because of the color with white looking that good, not really that far off the f7 sherwood green one above.

You know when I look at the underside of my trunklid and in my door jams, My F7 doesn't seem to have that much metal flake and has a little more...goldish??... tint to it. I would like to compare my trunk to a late model dark olive green Grand Cherokee that I occasionally see in my nieghbohood. It seems closer to that color than the picture above.

Is your interior green? Mine is calico... old ratty white buckets, black console and door panels, dark green back seat.

I think i will have my color matched, maybe add some more flake???.

At Mopars in the Park in Farmington I took a lot of pictures of F8 green cars. Thought I might go that route too.

I would love to check out your car, wow Hibbings is up there a ways. if you have time, and are bored let me know when you are around Anoka.

I'm off this next week so I'll take my trunk into the sunlight and snap some pics for an F7 reference

IMHO..i think that color is too light for white accents..i think black strobes would compliment it better

hi yes all green interior .. Had bench seat and i found old ratty buckets and had them redone with legindary covers , like new now .. So your lucky to have seats to start with
ya you have a good color and a little more flake would set it off nice
your welcome to swing in if ever in this area , my car will be leaveing in a couple weeks and will be in anoka till may
will look forward to seeing your trunk lid color when u get time

well she is off to anoka minn to get painted ..ill see her again in may
decided not to go with f-3 and to go with fj6 . will have white decals . will have vinal top removed and new winshied installed and a rally hood

very excited .. but will be a long winter without her
will be adding pictures of progress as Dave sends them to me
