or any other racing tribute? Was thinking of doing a tribute but not your typical Petty clone, and mine will have functioning doors and interior, basically an exterior tribute. I have a racing drive train but will keep it calm enough to be a street driven car show toy.
Considering Marty Robbin's or Bobby Allison, maybe.. even Dale Earnhardt SR

I love the idea, but they are a little too flashy for street driving.

If I ever get around to it, I’d like to make my grill, hood and dash in that style.

with today's cars, everything we drive old school Mopar may be considered flashy, especially if your engine goes thump thump thump lol

I am considering doing the same to my 58 Coronet.
I actually found pics of a 57 Coronet from back in the day.

I think it's a great idea. It's the heritage that these cars were born from. Cosmetically appearing as a NASCAR race vehicle, while maintaining street drivability and comfort. Heck, I'd even go so far as gutting the interior except the dash, driver and passenger seat, and adding a roll bar. Do what YOU like !

Not to highjack this thread, but it is right in-line with what I'm thinking.

Case in point:
