Anybody Hiring in Arkansas?

My son moved from Colorado to Conway Arkansas last year because he wanted a change of scenery, and he had a friend there.

He is having a devil of a time finding a job. He had a start date, but the company postponed it a couple times then rescinded the offer. That set him back unfortunately.

He has a business degree and experience in hospitality and real estate loans. He’s a really great guy, and I’m not just saying that because he’s mine.

Does anyone know of any leads?

Unemployment is pretty low here but we are a small population state. If he’s not connected to Conway he may need to look around up in NW AR as that’s where a lot of the growth is concentrated. It’s also a really nice part of the State. But I’m long retired out of Engineering and not in the know for those fields. Good luck to him - I hope he finds something.

I appreciate the reply.
I talked to him today, he has an appointment with an employment firm tomorrow.
Then Saturday he is going to a hiring event at Westrock Coffee, which lookes really interesting.

In my opinion, its tough to cut through all of the HR department's computer models and personality testing to actually get hired these days.
