know who to send the old pitted one to so they can make it new again? A friend is looking for one.

the King of Trim used to be in California don't remember what the company name was. KOT was his ebay handle
kinda pricey too

Bills specialtys in illinois he advertises in the mopar mags pricey though.

Is it a 440 or 500 model you're looking for? Spec T's is more than pricey! Sell your house to get one from him!

I almost fell over.... I have a 65-500... to detail the grill and head light bezels he wanted 1300.00.. Are you sitting down, 2600.00 for the rear panel!!!

F'me!!!! Damn!!!!

What is the rear finish panel made of?

The 500 is a cast pot metal piece! The 440 is a stamped alum. and anodized!

Yep, trim restoration is expensive! It's very labor intensive and time consuming ... and most of the guys who do it for a living charge by the inch. It's only going to get more expensive as time goes on too because the parts are getting harder to find, and good trim shops are dropping like flies.

Exactly why I changed the trunk trim and tail lights from 500 to 330 stuff.

It is expensive. especially the pitted pot metal stuff. Bad thing about our cars is that, there are not alot of parts being reproduced. You either pay to re-plate or do without. Like wedgie and MS 636 said, might want to "down grade" to save some cash. I paid $1.75/inch to have the Stainless side trim polished for the 330.

Good thing ya dont have a polara 500 cause you could multiply that by 4 for the side trim, not to mention the 2 pieces on the deck lid.

Metro Molded Parts told me a couple of years ago at the Mopar Nats they were going to reproduce the Coronet 500 tail finish panel and it would around $500.00 As of yet I haven't seen one though. They do have the hood lip trim now. Special T's is real pricey, I look at his stuff every year hoping to find a deal.I did buy a NOS trunk medallion from him when I had my car done 7 years ago, gave him $600.00 for it. Now they reproduce them. My tail panel isn't real bad but I would like to have a nice new shiny one,but not for $2600.00!!

I don't have any finish panels that are nice, but do have the Dodge emblem that goes on a 440 model panel. Has NO pitting and no marks in the paint. Mine's a 330, will sell it. PM me
