That's a 1937 Cord 812. Front wheel drive with a Lycoming V8. Very nice cars and considered a full 'classic' by antique car clubs. I have seen a fair number of 'em. A friend of mine is restoring one.

Today is the first time ive ever seen one, Parts hard to find for it, or are we maybe talking lots of fab work to restore one? Front wheel drive back in those years, you have to admit thats kind of cool how this can be as compared to whats on the road today.. Its not a bad looking car, i like it myself, never seen the interior in one but i did find a page to read up some about them.. Heck, didn't take long to find someone who knew of them, honestly, im 56 and this is the first ive heard of them... My grandfather on my Ma's side always talked cars, funny he never mentioned this one. Thanks!

Yep, and hideaway headlights too!

Built in Auburn Indiana along with the Auburns and Duesenburgs. It is a hell of a car.

...and turbo was an option, IIRC
