im still waiting for my short blocks machine work to be completed, but i decided in march to go hydraulic roller.

i actually bought one from Hughes, (Daves) recommendation, and a slightly larger one from Lunati, in case i need to tailor the cylinder pressure .

just curious as to if anyone else is using them, and personal impressions.

they work good long as you plan on limiting the engine to around 6 grand. i was a little happier with my engine when i pulled the HR and stuck a solid flat tappet in it. it was a better fit with the bigger heads. this was the 440+6 in my roadrunner.

interesting, yeah, this 65 post coronet im building is not going to be a dedicated 1/4 mile car, but i was planing have rev capabilities of 6500-6800.

i may have to rethink the setup when i see what it dose in the real world.

i have CNC ported Stealth heads that are flowing in the 315-320 cfm range, so a decent flat tapped solid could be a back up option.
