I ordered a Lokar Throttle cable which I used on my Duster but didn't realize it is 24" long. I can't find a a shorter one on line. Do I just make a loop with the extra. I need both ends or I would make it shorter. Lokar TC-1000U

I guess you could loop it,i cut mine .I used a small pipe cuter for the outside cover, worked perfect, almost like a factory cut, then i used side cutters for the inside cable ,worked perect.Hope this helps

IF you read the directions it will tell you how to shorten it.

Thanks, it just looked like if the ends were cut they couldn't be used again.

Thanks, it just looked like if the ends were cut they couldn't be used again so I didn't read the instructions. That is one of my bad traits.....lol

I also have the kick down cable as well.

Thanks.....I will get it installed.

Lokar Cable's

Just like said above......... just make sure you coat all the thread's on
everything with Anti-seize before final installation, as if you don't,
and need to make any future adjustment's, you will not get them loose
if you don't. We have used them on many hot rod, custom car
application's, and they work great. Good luck.

I also use the Lokar throttle cable. It works great for me as I just cut it to the size I needed and its been on my 63 since 2006. Ron

Awsome 426 some day when my bank account recovers form this restoration I may find a nice date code 64/65 for my convertible.

I just ordered one from Bouchillion Performance

I think that's what I used on my Duster. That was nice too, this Lokar seems to be a very nice piece and easy to fit, (once you read the directions on cutting it...lol)

Here is a picture, the kickdown is not cut to lenghth yet. Need to connect to trans tomorrow.
