Purchased the Denso alternator from AR Engineering. Per the install instructions i need to remove the external voltage regulator however looking to know where you connect terminal `IG` on back of alternator to a 12v ignition switched source. Any ideas where I connect this?
Thx,
Nuke

If you had the old mechanical style single wire voltage regulator you have to essentially splice those two wires together and connect the existing field wire that went from the regulator to the old alternator to that 'IG' terminal.
It should work then.

And if you have a 70 or newer the original blue field wire from the stock alternator plugs to the Ign terminal of the new regulator, BTW it is spliced to the blue wire that goes to the stock external regulator.... The green wire that goes from the stock alternator back to the external regulator can be eliminated..
