AMD wants 200+ for the same bumper, this is not a show car when done thanks 70 charger rear bumper

From personal experience on the couple of Goodmark patch panels I have bought, there is no doubt in my mind I would pony up the extra $200 for an AMD product. I have front and rear AMD bumpers on my Duster and they are decent.

AMD's will have their issues...depending on how nice a unit you're after, you may very well be sending back the first one to get to a good one. That said Dave I'd be REAL hesitant to buy something that much cheaper than an AMD..so beware.
I have an AMD on the rear of my 68, and it's not perfect....but fine for a driver/ground pounder like mine.
But, let us know what you decide and how it turns out!

still deciding,a member has one that has a couple digs in it for 250+ 85 shipping and I could get a Goodmark for 260 shipped. Guess I need to wait since the charger will take a couple years to do on my budget build.

I don't know what to tell you. I bought AMD front and rear bumpers for my 70 GTX. They look very good and my body guy said they fit good. He ordered a set for his 69 RR and he said they were horrible, so he returned them.

Yeah kinda typical of AMD. Hit or miss on quality.
If you get a good one..go buy a lottery ticket!

did he get another set sent to him?

My last rechromed originals last year were $600 each, I hear $800 today is the norm. My AMD repops were 450 two years ago. Even if you get a lessor quality in a Goodmark or even a 'bad" AMD, in time, it will be no problem getting your money back. I don't see the cost of crappy, ok, good, better , best going down any time.

I got lucky when I bought my AMD bumpers a few years ago on a Tamraz 50% off Christmas deal., before they started ripping everyone off and then going out of business.
