Are the 516 heads good for street performance

They have the 1.60 exhaust instead of 1.74. If you upgraded them, they would be good, as they are closed chamber. Put 2.14/1.8 intake exhaust valves, hardened seats, or just 1.74s, they're good for the right engine.

The intake port is not as good as the 915 or the 906 but for a street car with at least the 1.74" EX valve they will work. If the price is right I'd use 'em.
