Agree with Kennith and can confirm. I have a 68 charger that had the front end converted to a 1970. I'm restoring back to 1968 and can definitely confirm that the lever mechanism and secondary hood latch are completely different. I'm still looking for a 68/69 lever, ebay prices are insane. Maybe someone is looking for a trade?
