Are there underdash courtesy lights in a bench seat car ??

Hey conv owners, is there supposed to be underdash courtesy lights on bench seat cars ?

When I got my 70 project the dash was removed and a few items were removed from it. I suspect that there were supposed to be underdash courtesy lights (my car is a bench seat car). I have some wiring from a spare dash harness that looks like it plugs into them.

I tried searching on "courtesy lights" and "dash lights" and never found anything that makes me think there are supposed to be any.

My 71 did not have them from the factory. I added them when I converted from a bench to buckets

No courtesy lights on a 70 bench seat car. You only got the dome light. Map light, ash tray light, ignition light & trunk light are part of the A01 lamp package.
