automatic console ideas

Hi all,
I'm doing a build on a 64 pro street Savoy and would like some ideas for a console. I'm using a B&M star shifter and want to lose the "box" that comes with it. Not looking for anything period correct, if there was, but something fitting for the era of the car. I'm going with low back buckets so something with an arm rest, low profile and not necessarily connecting with the dash (stock dash). What I'm asking is where to look. Doesn't matter if it's ford, gm or Chrysler as it will be a basis for modification. Just hoping someone has seen something in a vehicle that I could look into rather then aimlessly wandering a scrap yard
