Yes. Bearings on the axle get bearing grease. You have a seal inward to keep the gear oil in the housing.

Tapered roller?
Are you going to clean them out or just put more grease in?
If you are going to clean them, put a large pan under it, hose with mineral spirits, blow, repeat until clean.
Either way, use this grease.
It's high temp, extreme pressure, water proof.
And compatible with other grease.
Not all greases are compatible.
This grease will work for everything.
It will cost more but you only need one grease.
Get it at Autozone.
