I just purchased a green axle bearing kit from mancini racing and was wondering if there was anything else i would need to reinstall my axles. Also when I take them to a machine shop to have the bearing installed is there a certain length they press them on to since they arent adjustable anymore? A quick run through what is needed and not needed anymore with this kit would be really helpfull. Thanks.

The only reason for the adjustment is because the factory bearings are a tapered roller type and MoPar specs out a little end play in this application. The Green bearings are similar to the factory Ford setup and should go on the axle until it stops against the shoulder. The conrad style bearing (deep groove radial ball) can not be adjusted. Installation should be no problem for anyone with a press.

Side note: The Green bearings are not any better than that factory setup, and in fact probably have a lower load rating. The only reason they are popular is they don't require any adjustments. More of a plug and play thing.
