axle seals

I have my 8 3/4 apart, and wonder if the standard/oem inner axle seal will work with Green-bearings? I yanked the originals out...and would like to have an inner seal.

Yes they will and its a good idea to use em regardless of them being sealed. I call it having cheap insurance to keep the gear oil where it belongs. And yes I did this for my Abody 8.75 rear and been running em like this for 6-7 years with no issues.

Make sure you get them driven all the way in.... can't tell you have many times I pulled the carrier out trying to understand why I could not get the endplay adjust correctly.....

True but OP is using Greens (no end play adjustment and hopefully no thrust button) not Timkins

It went back together, just fine. Thanks guys. Used a big-*** socket, and slowly tapped them in.
