B body Dana's with factory 4.88?

I have 3 late 69 to 70 Dana 60's rears. All 3 have posi units 2 of them have 4.10 gears, and 1 has 4.88. All three of them have never been taken apart, My question is did they offer 4.88's in a B-body?

Get the BoM number off of it....that'll tell you what it came with but the info I have says no to those years. The BoM # will be on the back of the right side axle tube and about 2-3" away from the center section.....and they are usually faint so don't use course sand paper to shine up the area.

Yes but only in the 67 WO and RO cars from the factory.

I have a 60 with 4.88's but I also have a ring gear spacer. Not sure what carrier I have and don't know if you can put 4.88's directly onto a 4.10 power lock carrier.
