Could someone tell me the width of a gas tank for a '67 Belvedere. My car came with a fuel cell in the trunk and I want to go back with a stock fuel tank. The car was tubbed so I want to make sure there's room before I order a new tank. Thanks...

The tank is an inch or so narrower than frame rails on each side.
Unless they move frame rails shouldn't be a problem. If the wheel tubs aren't farther back than stock it should be ok.

Post a picture of underneath the car and I can tell you. My 67 gtx has tubs and the stock tank fits. If the springs have been moved inboard you will likely not be able to use the stock tank and will need to go fuel cell, unless you move the springs back to stock location.

Picture of under side if springs are mounted on frame rails. A measurement between inside shackles. You might get away with folding the seam in the area of shackle.

My car (66 Belvedere II) is mini-tubbed to frame rails. Stock tank with seam folded against tank. You will be fine with stock tank.
