I have a copy. It's not a bad primer/starting point, but it's also pretty generic, talks about what you "CAN" do and/or what you "SHOULD" do, but not much about HOW to do it.
It doesn't show or discuss much in the way of cheap/quick upgrades, but sure will direct you to back-half the car or swap a high-end k-member replacement...
I'm neutral as far as recommending or not recommending it. It's a decent read, with lots of good ideas, but it doesn't go far enough for me. It does serve as a good starting point for where you might want to go with a B-Body if you're fairly new to them or old cars in general.
To be completely fair, it's all my opinion, and I'm somewhat jaded. The book's pretty clear that our cars supposedly don't handle well and don't stop well, etc. Personally, when everything's working right, and setup right, I *LIKE* the way these cars handle as stock (or mildly improved) and don't see the need for 4-wheel power disc brakes, quick ratio steering, coil-over shocks and and other major overhauls to the suspension/steering, so much of what the book recommends isn't in the cards for my car....hence my jaded attitude.
