Hey guys,
I noticed something on the Schumacher website that really caught my attention, just wanted to double check with you guys here to make sure im not missing something really obvious.

First, my vehicles...

'71 Demon - /6 with a manual 3 speed on the floor and a 7.25 (irrelevant, now that I think about it!)
'66 Coronet - Poly 318 with a 727 on the column and an 8.75
'66 New Yorker - 440 with a 727 on the column and an 8.75

I originally bought the New Yorker to pull the drivetrain, rear end and all, to swap into my Demon. Now, I was on schumachers website earlier today and I noticed that they only sell one set of motor mounts for the B, C AND E platforms... using that logic and looking at what I have, it seems to me that I can swap the 440/727 right into my Coronet and swap the Poly 318/727 into the New Yorker using the motor mounts already in these cars right??? Do I have this right or did I miss something? (my Coronet was originally a 273/Automatic car so both my New Yorker and Coronet have V8 k-frames)

If this is true id love to updgrade my Coronet with the 440, put the 318 into the New Yoker and sell that as a complete, reliable, runnning car to someone thats into c-bodys and use that ca$h to help me finish my Big Block Demon so ill end up with both a 440 Demon AND a 440 Coronet! Cant ask for much more than that right?!

Big blocks share the same mounting brackets. 318 in a New Yorker? Yuk lol

mmmm hmm... so small block B-body mounts and big block c-body mounts are one and the same? saweet!!!

C-Body/Poly 318? not so bad in my case, that Poly is pretty torquey and the NY'r sits about 2" off the ground so accelaration is last on the list for that thing lol!

Thanks for the info man! I really appreciate it!

No.....the rubber biscuits should be the same but the steel mount brackets that bolt onto the block are different between the small and big block engines. AND...the 273/318 brackets are a little different than the 340/360 brackets. I've never installed a small block into a big car so I don't know what kind of issues you might run into with that but I would think that the small block brackets should work for the C body and don't think they made a New Yorker with a small block....never seen one anyways. Maybe someone else could confirm that....
