Back on track

Well got back on track for first time since June .
Tine to get some practice leading up to October .
Ran at Sydney Dragway track champs round 5 .
Wanted to try a couple minor things on lights .
Started day on Goodyear 30x9 radials then went back to PBRs after turning 2nd qual .
First 3 passes/quals car was hauling. First 2 mph were huge for me.
Maybe the breeze was more affecting than usual though GY are always quicker .
Once i hit elims car just ran same ets.
All was good rolling back into opponents . Until i threw a 0.018 red in the semi .
That was annoying as i knew as i did it i was repeating a previous error . Ah well was still decent day to go semi in 28 car field .
Will run another track champs next month maybe double enter into box (supersedan) as well for a couple extra passes

Nice to go rounds. Big swing in 60ft on runs 1/2. Is that why you switched tires? By the 60 ft in the Semis, it looks like you went in deep.

was good to go a few rounds . Q2 was a spin so yes why I changed tyres , Semi was a chirp of the tyre . Dont feel it was deeper than usual but ......
I'm not thinking track was stellar prep .

I messed with my shocks and ladder bar settings forever. Finally hit on the right combo. It never spins now on any prep. T&T or full race deal. I just kept twisting knobs. Eventually found it.

I hear you . I have run same shock setting for years . I do run radials so if track too far off i can turn . At least with pbr it will only turn a little before hooking not blow tyres off . I must say it is uncommon .
