Trying to remove the bottom of my 70 BEE to get to the seat belts and clean what ever junk is under there. Does it just lift out or do I have to get to it from the trunk?

Thanks

There are brackets at the bottom of the seat frame that slide into a retainer on the floorpan. They are about a foot in from the sides of the seat located on the front of the frame. You need to push the bottom of the lower rear seat back and lift at the same time to release the bracket from the retainer.

Thanks I'll give it a try.

Really poor drawing. The floor brackets are hooks facing to the rear and down

The seats have downward "loops" which engage the hooks. You have to put downward pressure while kicking the seat to the rear
