Just to be clear, are you wanting to know what backspacing you need to fit a 295/50/17 in there?
Or do you have them installed and are just showing what it looks like? Because if that's the case the picture is too dark in the wheel area to see anything.
If you're trying to figure out the backspacing, it all depends on the rim width...
8" rims like to have a 4.5" BS to center the wheel between the leaf spring and fenderwell in the '68 Plymouth B.
You can usually squeeze a 10" rim with 5.5" BS in there but you really should get out the tape measure and strightedges and verify everything....not every car's springs line up exactly the same with the body.
