I have held off a long time to say anything bad about this guy but enough is enough!
I bought a new set of heads and rocker arms from him. It took forever to get them. I ordered them late last year. I never really pushed the issue since I didn't need them until April. I finally got them in March after a few calls to get him moving. They arrived but no rockers!? I called him, he tells me "Sorry about that, I realized I forgot to put them in the box when I got home." I chalk it up to "**** Happens" He tells me he is going to get them shipped out tomorrow. No biggie since I needed to put heads on and do a few other things. 2 weeks go by and no rockers. I give him a call, he lies to me and says they were shipped. In the same sentence he tells me he doesn't have any laying around so they had to be shipped and then after a few ? he tells me he has a set on his bench that he will ship me until he tracks the others down with UPS. I get the rockers about 2 weeks later (again after a few calls). I put them on last week. That dirty SOB didn't send me the right offset on 4 of the rockers. #1 and #5 don't line up. I didn't even mess with pass side since they were the same as the driver. I have 8 left side offset rockers but need 4 right and 4 left. I have called him every day since and no answer/returned call. How surprised would this MOTHER FUCK3R be if I showed up at his house. I picked up my motor there so I know where he lives. It still isn't out of the question.

Very best way to get a point across, If you can do it without getting locked up.. Sorry to hear this, makes himself look bad and loss of business would be a good lesson by itself. Id call and tell him to check this thread out and ask him if he thinks it may help or hinder his faithfulness as a seller who can be trusted! I don't buy many engine parts, but thanks for the heads up..

im a firm believer in HOMEMADE JUSTICE. after being dragged thru court for the past year ....and doing things the RIGHT way, and results that should have been achieved months ago are still up in the air....personally i could have gotten things done alot faster DOING IT MY WAY . if this guy has been dicking you around for THAT long.... then he DESERVES a home visit from you. i say go do it!

True but remember when you go just keep your cool about it cause he could just get you arrested for you intimidating him id go but be nice about it and say look I'm here make it right or give me my money back and I have a very short fuse so take it as you will

Many years ago I had a problem with a guy that didn't pay for an engine that I built for him. I took a check (dumb ***) and it bounce and after several calls, I ended up driving to his house with my truck and trailer. He had already installed the engine into the car and I was about to pick it all up. Luckily, the car was in his driveway so I backed up to it and started loading it. He came out and threatened to call the cops and that he knew where I lived. Told him to go ahead...the car isn't going to my house anyways. He went into the house and got out 1500 bucks! I don't take checks anymore and require a deposit that at least covers parts. I absolutely hate these kinds of people!

Well since he wouldn't answer my phone I used my wifes. Guess what, He answered on the 2nd ring. He paused when I said who I was. I was nice when I talked with him because I figured it would be better that way. We worked something out on fixing the issue but this deal isn't done yet so I am not holding my breath. Hopefully I can get this done or I am never going to get this car down the track.

That's how I do collections in my business. I borrow an other phone and they always pick up.
