Sorry but i have to vent and thought this was the place since most here will understand why. So its raining and i cant work on the satellite. Well might as well go pick up my new wheels. I get there and they look good but the owner isnt there and the guy tells me the price about 20 bucks more than i was quoted per wheel. No problem they all know me. I built their new showroom a couple years ago. So i take my wheels with the understanding i'll stop by monday to settle up with them. Then i stop at a friends to pick up some used 295/50s to see if i like them on the car. He is out of town so i cant get to our tire machine (a charlotte autofair purchase-3 of us put in 50 each for a coates 10-10). on the way home i stop by a different store to have them mounted ( the first shop closes at 12). While having to pry to get the 295 on this guy dings my new wheel in 2 spots. Well i finally get home and decide to try the one i had mounted. Still raining by the way. I have to do this in the yard because the satellite isnt running and the nicer drivable cuda is in my shop. Well the floor jack sinks up in the wet ground, im on all fours getting soaked and it wont go on with the jack under the axle. So i set it back down to jack up on the spring hanger. i finally get the wheel up in the wheelwell but cant quite get it lined up. I sit down to look straight on only to realize that i have the wrong wheel. The brand new dinged up already mounted wheel is for a chevy bolt pattern. im so ticked i dont even know what to say at this point. I'm sure the owner of the first shop will work with me but i'll probably end up with one wheel since i had it mounted (plus the dings). sorry this took so long but thats how my day went thanks for the RANT

It's frustrating sometimes but just be glad you don't have a chevy that you're trying to get a mopar wheel on.

Tire shop should pay for that wheel as far as I'm concerned. Wheel shop should give you what you ordered.

OK so i finished work early today and headed to the first shop. He couldnt send the dinged wheel back but could the other. Hes ordered the right wheels and is going to try to sale the one as used cheap. He only charged me $200 total which is basically what he going to charge me to begin with (90-95 each plus tax). He's a stand up guy. I knew he would do whatever he could but i think he went above and beyond since his guys didnt mess up the wheel. It all worked out but sometimes you just have to blow off steam

Well, it's a surprise ending fer' shur'..........

Not many are this fortunate these days........You found a good egg! :HappyNewYear:
