Bash Threads

Recently we had someone post a tread bashing someone who they thought deserved bashing. Maybe they do. Maybe they don't. But this person/business isn't a member here, haven't done anything to anyone here that I know of, and they don't have the chance to defend themselves.

This is a problem. If allowed to stay this thread opens the door for uncontrolled bashing of people whenever someone else decides they want to. I know none of you here would want to be bashed on a forum (especially one you aren't a member of) and have no opportunity to defend yourself. That kind of behavior just isn't right, and you all know it.

So unless Admin says otherwise, it isn't gonna happen here.

Two sides to every story. Hopefully nobody will make a decision about some body or company by hearing one side of somebody bitching and bashing a company or a person. I don't think anyone here is that nieve.

Listen up everyone. Trash talk among freinds is one thing, public bashing a fella for fun or a simple disagreement is out. Stupid things like cam choice, price on car etc...can be noted as not what you would do or a I think it's pricey, good luck with the sale comments are OK, but lets keep this place good.

The report-a-post is in the corner and all are welcomed to use it or simpley notify a MOD if things get wacky.

Constant offenders will be given a vaction.
IF after a vaction, the offender gets back into a bad habbit and can not control themselfs, a perma banning will be given.

This keeps the A-holes out, the good fellas in.

I just joined up not to long ago I completly agree with what everybody is saying kidding and joking around is one thing but to bash someone it becomes to much on a personal level you hurt peoples feelings above and beyond the point of no trurning back! Lets face it life is to short to be a prick! So can we all just get along and sing campfire songs and roast marshmellows on a stick?

Me too, and bad references from others has turned me away from "certain" businesses more than once, and made me look elsewhere.

The word of mouth can be GREAT advertisement or it can be the "Kiss of Death"

I believe that Companies,Sellers and Businesses can be Not Recommended and not bashed into the ground.

We should start a thread on Businesses and either RECOMMEND or NOT RECOMMENDED, with out the bashing.

UNITE ! All we would be doing is helping protect each others best interest in the hobby that we Love. and helping save each other the possible grief that could happen from a bad business experience.

yeah but there are unsuspecting trusting people out there getting burned everyday . I for one will alway speak up if I can help save someone from getting burned . I have been burned by a couple body shops badly and its not fun .

Well the thing is the person being bashed needs to have a rap. Shysters can be and usually are sh**sters too, but those people connive and wriggle to an attorney like daredevil said.
