Battery cables

On my 68 Roadrunner, should the battery cable ends be round or square ??
When you buy them you have to choose.

I purchased a high $ reference manual and they don't know either ! I know what's going to happen, as soon as I replace the cables, some body is going to say "that's wrong" . I guess I'll keep digging.

Pretty sure they were square end, but these were sometimes from different suppliers, so it might have depended on which plant assembled it.
Same with brake cylinders, radios, glove compartment latches, hood latches.

I would be more concerned about wire gauge and color.

Thanks, that is a really good tip. I did not know about these guys. Looks like I'll be spending my allowance there for several months to come. My car is about 90 - 95 % original, I', trying to get it the rest of the way. Joe
