Battery tray colour?

Hi all

Quick question if i may...

Should the battery tray on our 69 Sport Satellite be painted body colour or summat else?

We should be receiving a new one with brackets from Jack's Auto Parts quite soon. I think it comes in a kind of satin black (like new repair panels).

Or is this the correct colour & finish?

And should the brackets be the same colour as the tray?

Most I have seen, the tray and brackets are body color.
