Congrants to SSR and the boys making it to a all mopar final and losing by .005 :headbang::headbang: One thing for sure you like race!!!!!!

way to go chris! I hope you got some good pic's :hello2:

Awesome job Chris, You Da Man!!!!! Who did you have in the final? It was good seeing ya again.

Had a blast this weekend. If you've never been to this race you dont know what your missing. There was 54 Nostalgia Super Stockers alone, on top of East Coast Gassers, two other series of Nostalgia cars and also Nostalgia Funny Cars.

Pitted by Actionange and Joe which is always a good time. Man those guys eat well!

Chased some jetting issues this weekend, never had to go up 6 jet sizes in 90+ degree weather before, but the car seemed to like it. Then today actually broke a side hung float in a Holley 770 which I've never seen that happen before. It broke the arm right where it pivots. Man that could have been bad bad bad because it didn't happen until he went through the traps and the car shut off. Oh well made it past 1st round and the car hopefully isnt hurt.

Looking forward to next year at the Beav!

I had to race SSR in the 2nd round and decided it was time to take an afternoon NAP...LOL

Congrats to SSR bucking some mechanical issues and getting to the final.:hello2::headbang:

THOUGHT my day was ended after 1st time trial with a loud noise in the engine ran the valves, checked everything (well ALMOST EVERYTHING) and decided to check the converter bolts another last time. found all 4 bolts very lose. tightened up and was able to make 1st round. couldnt believe i was able to get the bolts tightened. there was like 12 cars (6 pairs left in the lanes when i flew up to the staging lanes.
strapped in and get some much help from the Augillero brothers and Drjay0 jason.
Car was running flawlessly with only a best of 9.14 @ 148.67
it was hot. by 6:00pm it was 92.7 degrees with a DA of 2465 feet from 1232 at 11:30 am.

Congrats on making the finals Chris! I'm definitely kicking myself for not being there. Alabama was HOTTTTT!!!! Temp without the heat index Saturday got up to 111!! We didn't do too well down there and the heat plain SUCKED! Again, congrats and I'm definitely going north instead of south in July from now on!!!!

SUPERSTOCKRACER, I stopped in to introduce myself but you looked pretty busy and I didn't want to bother you. Beaver Springs is my home track. You had the same dial-in as a buddy of mine and he normally runs an 8.80 at this track. The DA was really tough. Congrats on a good day of racing. I took this photo of you lining up against the Sox and Martin car.

Combatsp,

What round did Bob Roles make it to? Who beat him?

Roles is who I was talking about in my previous post. For the life of me I can't remember who he lost to or when. I left when there were 8 cars left and he was eliminated by that point. My other friend had a white 70 Hemi Cuda and he got eliminated in his first round. I need to hustle and get my car ready.

Yha I knew the Cuda was out the first round, the Challenger was eliminated I tihnk the second round. I know Bob won the 3rd round but we left after that.

We were pitted three trailers down from Bob.

HI, did we talk to each other briefly? if i was short im sorry, i thought i blew my motor and was chasing a severe rod knock.i thought my $30,000 motor was toast. it turned out to be loose converter bolts. That was the fastest valve lash adjustment i ever did. everything was spot on.I thought you said you were 65-440. i was ready to load up and go home from the advice of my buddy actionange. :icon_smurf: i knew he didnt want to line up next to me so he said leave now, you'll be home for supper.. he was very:edgy:eek:n his game but when he hears me roaring from behind, :eek:lol.

No, I didn't talk to you. You were under the car working and I didn't want to bother you. Looked like you were in a hurry to fix something before the next round.
