I have been on this borad for close to a year now and I don't believe I ever initially posted in this forum.
I thought it might be a good idea to let people here know who I am and what my background is so that when I post on certain subjects you know what my background is and where my knowledge comes from.
I am 58 years old (born in 1950) and began my career as a salesman for a Dodge/AMC dealership in 1968 through 1974 located in Savanna, Illinois in the northwest corner of Illinois.
Over the last 40 years I have owned aprroximately 150 muscle, sports, antique, and special interest cars personally.
I have owned an automotive repair shop, a body shop, was the manager for a company that built motorized office vehicle of many kinds as well as handicapped van conversions and equipment, and was the Director of Fleet sales for one of the worlds largest Nissan dealers. For the last 11 years I have been buying and selling my OWN real estate.
I have been posting on Internet auto web sites for about 8 years now.
I have a fair selection of factory manuals and dealer sales aids and books for the vehicle years I currently own that you will sometimes see me reference in posts.
I am know on Moparts as 66hemi, (currently banned there as I have been several times before) and hated by many there for my outspokenness and defense of the facts and truth regarding automotive law, but we will not get into that any further. I like the fact that this is not an ongoing issue on this web site.
So, now you know from where I am coming from background wise when I post on a subject.
