paying it forwards
was thinking about how some of the cars in our lives end up leaving And returning.
thought maybe a topic of some stories about this might? be interesting.

my 71 amc javelin
i owned this car 2 times in 20 years.
i bought it out of conn, redid it in mass, and took it with me to ny when i moved here.
sold it a few years later, and then bought it back 8 years after that.
its the one car i had the longest, and to be frank,i have no clue why.
it had the 71 down crank,so transmissions were a pita and the body needed help,
yet,i was stuck on that car.
i finally sold it again a few years ago,and of course i Still think about it.
if it comes up for sale, ill probably go buy it again!
no clue why,
i literally went thru hundreds of cars and tons of money while that one sat in storage...
in fact i paid more for storage than the car was worth lmao, smh at meself.
the itch that never got scratched i guess.

my 69 coronet
i bought this car as a parts car.
it had shot qtrs the body was primer red and motor was toast.
i dropped a 400 in it and sold it,saw it a few months later, trans had lost reverse.
kept trying to buy it back, finally got it a year later and had it going in a week.
that car, besides being the biggest Pile bodywise, was the Most Fun.
you could do Anything you wanted in it,no worries.
i Miss a lot of my cars, but some really stand out.
that pile was one of em :)

so,got any good stories?

Once mine are sold they are pretty much forgotten,
gone for good
rarely ever even seen them unless they were racecars
that I saw at the track occasionally...
Usually good reasons for selling on my end in the 1st place...

I would like to have my 1st 68 Charger R/T back,
1st got some 40+ years ago, sold 10-12 years later
but it's gone to the big Mopar God in the sky now...
