Saying hello from Los Angeles. Been lurking here for a few months and finally decided to join the party. I just picked up a 1969 Roadrunner. Looking forward to meeting other B body folks.

:woohoo:

That's a great lookin' '69! What other details can you tell us about it. If you would like a site dedicated to the '69s may I suggest you come over the www.69roadrunner.net. There are a good bunch of guys there also and there is a good tech section as well.

I will definitely check out your site.

From what I can tell it is a matching numbers car.
I bought the car through a third party. The original owner was very distressed about having to sell his baby. He had it for the last 28 years. It took him three years to restore. Medical bills forced the sale. I am still waiting to get all the paperwork he aquired and should be getting it by Tuesday. Fender tag decode is as follows.
VIN: RM21H9G303xxx

V21 V6W END
A14 A87 M21 M31 R11 V1W
B5 B5 H2B B7 702 248147
E63 D21 RM21 H9G 303xxx

RM21
R = Plymouth Road Runner
M = Medium
21 = 2 Door Coupe

V21 Performance Hood Treatment

V6W White Longitude Sports Stripe

A14 Chrysler/Plymouth Spring Special w/ vinyl top

A87 Road Runner Decor Package

M21 Roof Drip Rail Moldings

M31 Belt Molding 69-70

V1W Full Vinyl Top - White

H2B high-grade blue bench

B7 Upper Door Frame paint

E63 383-4 Barrel

The car is pretty much restored to original condition minus the white vinyl top and the longitude stripes.

Just have to know why that site isn't for `68's too?. You can't have something against them, can you?.:edgy:

Thats one nice looking bird, welcome and let us in on the options and or history.

Not sure where you got that idea. Yes, the site specializes in 69s, but there are several guys who have '68s and are regulars on the site. Everyone is welcome. Come on over!

In that case I will!, gotta do something about the name though.:rolling:

That's a sweet car, killer color, and the stock wheels look fresh, very nice indeed, more pics? We love car **** in here!

Now that is one sweet ride! Love the colorcombo. Since I owned a 68 once, I have a weak spot for RR's...very nice...and a 4speed too!

I would mount steelies and a nice white stripe on the side...but that's just my opinion ofcourse. Car looks awesome...
