Hi FBBO members, I have a question and don't have the interchange manual (if it would help-?). I have a 69 Road Runner 383 4 speed. I bought the car with no drivetrain and as such have acquired (and rebuilt) everything except for acquiring the bellhousing.

I know my car is supposed to have the 28922626 (11 inch clutch). I have had people tell me I can use the 28922262 (older version) and the 513 as well as an
interchange bellhousing. The used price differences are astronomical (as you all know). I just want to get a correct fitting bell if I cant find the 626. When I do find the right one, the price is retirement fund priced.....

My question is, what will interchange with the 626? I am not a numbers guy but a make it work and go for a fast ride guy. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!

Are you building a mild street car or more wild than mild? If you are going more than a mild build, I'd go with a Lakewood blow proof.....

I am going with a near stock build. I prefer to keep the stock appearance.
Not worried about blowing it up....I hope.... :)

There are 10.5", 11" and 11" scalloped. As long as you match the bell to the flywheel and the flywheel bolt pattern to the crank you should be fine with any of the combos listed. I'm using my old Lakewood!

........Or was that 10.5" scalloped?? Yeah, I think the latter. 11" disk in a 10.5" package.
