is there any way i can find the lenths of the fan/ac/power steer/alt belts that i need for my 69 Stallite

I tied a rope around mine, measured it, then bought 2 or 3 belt sizes in each direction and returned the ones that dont fit.

Did the same thing. I went a touch shorter than the factory called for.

Goodyear and Dayco belts use the size in their part numbers. Eg. 15370 = width of 15/32 (3/8) X 37in total length (diameter). 17495 = width of 17/32 (1/2) X 49 1/2 total length (diameter) . That should help you if you wanted to buy on line or..... you end up in the Big Box part store and end up talking to some automotively challenged youngster !!!
