I am converting my 67 Coronet 440 bench seat to a bucket seat configuration. The bucket seats I have do have the tracks. will the bucket seat tracks attach to the floor at the same place the bench does?
Has anyone done this that can give advice?
Thanks,
John

yes they will attach to the same outer holes/by the doors in the floor, but the inner holes/closer to the hump, those holes will need to be drilled... if the car was originally equipped with a bench seat...

Actually, there is another set of dimples for tracks on the outboard (near the door) side. I'd measure and see which set lines up better for you.

You should also install the 4 plates that weld to the floor pan, these help beef up the inner stud holes and prevent tearing on hard launches.

...or you could use the seat nuts with the extra large, extra thick captive washer that can be easily found on 5th Avenues.
