Ok I'm about to start a restoration on a 69rr the car was a auto console car I'd like to keep the auto trans but put a bench seat it it is there a way to use a floor Shifter with a longer are to almost resemble a 4 spd?

I think you'll have to move the shifter forward some,
come up with some kind of cover for it too,
if your planning on using the stock OE style mechanism...
There's always a way...
Think outside the box, you can always get an aftermarket cable shifter,
adapt a longer handle to it, if you want the manual look,
but with no 3rd peddle...
you could adapt a Pistol Grip shifter handle to it...

Yes, you can do that. Buy a cable-shifter & cut it up. Buy a pistol grip shifter & cut it up. Weld the pieces together, grind/sand it, & re-chrome the whole arm. You can build anything given enough time, money & talent.

i put a cheetah in my bench 67 with the small consul cover they sell .it fits and looks great.no pics right now,at work.
