bendix dual diaphragm brake booster(FYI)

I wanted to share this info with you guys. I found a second Bendix dual diaphragm power brake booster on a 69 c-body. It’s the same booster that goes on a b-body except the brake pedal rod is longer on the c-body. I sent it to Prior brake products in Texas. For $110 plus shipping they rebuilt it and installed the correct rod for a b-body. I had it back in 10 days from the time I shipped it. I put a letter in the shipping box explaining what I wanted done. A few days after shipping I got a call from Prior with the cost of the rebuild I asked them if they understood what I wanted done and he said they did. I gave them my credit card information and three days later I have a newly rebuilt bendix dual diaphragm power brake booster for less than $200. On ebay these things list for $400 to $600. It was a good experience.

Would also suggest checking Napa and whatever is popular in the US for parts stores to see if they have one kicking around. I found one at Napa Canada, $170 all in, proper B body bendix.
