Hello fellow enthusiasts. I have been on this forum previously as GMACHINEDARTGT for at least 10 years. Currently, I own and operate Bergman Auto Craft which has been an online parts retailer focusing on Mopar Steering and Suspension parts. I have extensive experience owning, maintaining, building and tracking these cars. Feel free to ask any questions or view my site - Bergmanautocraft.com. I offer much more than what is listed, so just ask.

Welcome as a vendor. Thanks for being a sponsor.

Bought a steering box, Pitman arm, pump, lines and a serpentine pulley kit a few years back from Bergman. Great people to deal with and great service in my case.

I have had several dealings with Bergman and he has always provided great tech support, exceptional products and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking quality components for their build.

Thank you for becoming a site Vendor and supporter @BergmanAutoCraft

I would be interested if you have any options for converting the Dodge A100 'bus box' to have power assist...whether it be electric or hydraulic from a pump. Thanks.

I have a question about any solid information you can offer on a pair of UCAs I already own, but I haven't yet installed. Opinions are also welcome.
One of the things I heard more than once when I had "old school" experienced front suspension mechanics doing alignment was "I can't get enough adjustment in the factory cam style UCA" Now I know that there are a number of ways to address this, but since I was replacing the entire front suspension with a QA1 K-member and front suspension setup, I did make one exception in the UCAs. I chose the SPC UCAs, and "lack of adjustment" is definitely NOT going to be a problem.
What can you tell me about these UCAs?

Just so I'm clear, you purchased these upper arms already, and you are looking for info about them now?

Look, I quoted what you posted:

Now I asked you a question, and so far, you have replied with 2 questions. Those 2 questions sound like you are not happy about me asking about something that I bought from someone else. So either answer my question, IF you have any experience or an opinion about the SPC UCAs or edit your post to stipulate that you only answer questions about parts purchased from you.

I like to get as much information as possible before answering any question.
I also don’t appreciate the keyboard bullying. You wouldn’t dare speak like this if it was an in person conversation. This is why many vendors pulled out of Moparts years ago. It simply isn’t worth it.
Should I be happy you’ve purchased everything from somewhere else and want advice now? I don’t think anyone would be thrilled. Normally we ask questions before we buy. If you question was phrased differently, than this conversation would have a different tone.
I sell these arms with delrin ends and specific tubes and spacers to fit Mopars. My own testing proved not their rubber ends do not hold up under tough conditions. This was brought to their attention years ago. I’m the only one who offers the arm with my setup. Furthermore, I have a prototype arm from SPC that I’m testing once the world reopens. You’ll probably see it in MA at some point.

The pair I bought are sold as being for 70 B-Body Mopars. MADE IN USA.

Are the modified delrin ends you sell available for and compatible with the ones I bought?

I don't appreciate an invitation to ask questions, but instead get 2 questions in reply that were obviously because I dared to take up your offer to share your experience yet you were offended that I ask questions about something I didn't buy from you. I wouldn't say anything online I wouldn't say in person. If you ever see me, test what I'm telling you.
Now I'd rather leave all of that behind, and get on with what you have to offer that will improve the performance and reliability of the parts I already bought.
I got these over a year ago, I didn't discuss them with anyone, except on this forum. I found them at an obscure website that had them for about $45 each less than anyone else. I emailed the link to Summit, who I was buying everything else from, and they matched the price. I like the apparent strength of the Hotchkis UCAs, but they are very expensive.
In summary, what I understand in your reply:
Your delrin ends hold up better than the rubber ends, under "tough conditions". If those ends are compatible with what I have, I'd be interested in buying them to replace what I have.
The tubes and spacers you sell, that are "Mopar specific"...I assume you mean the threaded tubes, but I don't know what you mean by spacers. Would you provide the length of your tubes so I can measure mine and compare? Can you explain or elaborate where the spacers go?
Can you elaborate or describe the UCAs you are working on, like what about them is similar to the ones pictured, or what about them makes them unique and worthy of consideration?
Here's a picture of me at a car show. If our paths should cross, be sure to introduce yourself.

This is the way I sell these arms.

https://bergmanautocraft.com/product/bac-spc-upper-control-arms/

The ends I refer to is where they mount into the sockets at the inner fender well. I adapt the delrin end to Mopar by making a specific sleeve and spacers to fit the Mopar socket. I offer ball joints at extra cost, as I have not had good luck with SPC ball joints.

Unfortunately, I only sell the arms as complete assemblies.

As far as the prototype arms are concerned, I cannot release any information on those until we checked fitment and confirmed with SPC.
