Everytime I think I am "on the road", it's something new. Finishing my 2.5 year build, 65 coronet 500, stroker 440, 540 HP, auto, street driver. Thought I would save some money, bought cheap pusher fan. tHERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM FOR MECHANICAL FAN. You guessed, overheats within 10 minutes in this muggy, hot midwestern climate. I have a new alum. radiator, and my problem is I have about 2.5 inches clearance between pulley and radiator. If I modify radiator mounting flanges (really hate to cut and weld on new radiator) I can gain another 3/4 inch clearance, tops. Bought 3000 CFM dual fan. If I center fan in the correct spot, it clears crank pulley because space between t fan motors narrows way down but the fan motors won't clear power steering pulley and maybe even alt. side. In any case, looking for any other, same engine/body and what fans you run. Only low clearance I can find will drop me down to 2500 CFM and not sure that is enough to cool it. if I can even make it fit. Diagram on that one says it's 2.625 inches so I think it will fit. Also, really interested in what radiator hoses you run. Mine aren't collapsing but they are definitely cobbled to fit both upper and lower. Pic below isn't much but all I had at home , sorry
