Best Header Fit For 62 Polara

The motor is a 383 and I'm looking for headers that will have the best fit in my 62 Polara.

I have read a lot and TTI, Doug's and Headman Elite (78038) keep coming up.

Just looking for the best clean fit and a bit more performance.

Perfect fit on my 62 with the 318A. I bought mine used for $500.... ouch

After a lot of searching and comments from members I bought these for my 64 Sport Fury. I would have went for the TTI's but budget at the moment didn't allow. These were the cheapest I found price included shipping. I haven't installed them yet so can't say how the fitment was.

Don't see why that is. Are they made of a different metal?!

I've had the 78030's for years. They recommend you paint them as the paint they use is only for shipping. I had a local place sandblast them for $20 and did the high temp paint. It has worked really well. Flanges are thick and quality is good.

You can pay extra for the TTI's but I don't see why?!
