Anyone recommend a good place to get the door, trunk, roof rail weatherstrip from?

As well as the window Fuzzies/Door handles.

Working on a 68 charger.

Thank you

We got new window fuzzies from Herbs Mopar Parts, we have not ordered door handles (yet) but you can get those from Classic Industries or YearOne. Best of luck

@dodge68charger, in regards to your weatherstripping needs, check to see if you can reuse your door and roof rail seals along with the door end cap seals and U-jamb seals. If they are not torn or creased severely, reuse those pieces. None of the reproduction pieces will fit as well as the factory pieces. As for as the items like window felts, quarter glass seals and trunk seal, they just do not hold up and will need to be replaced.

Unlike most vendors that deals with only one brand of weatherstripping, we manufacturer some of the pieces ourselves and we also carry all of the other brands so as to have coverage and to offer the customer different options. Pricing and quality can be all over the spectrum and the most expensive does not relate to being the best quality. A simple item like a trunk seal can be a generic profile to a more correct profile. It comes down to economics and expectations. Also, as with any component, the proper installation is critical for sealing success. If the body components are not adjusted properly, no matter the quality of the weatherstripping, you will have issues.

For items like the door handles, does it matter if it has the correct linkage and button as compared to the assembly line piece, you can reuse your old pieces and just replace the chrome pot metal pieces. You can purchase an assembly imported for approximately half the price of an US produced piece. Again, what are your expectations and budget.

If you have any questions, just drop me a message. Probably best to have a conversation as to determine your your direction to get your desired results.

Thanks,
Richard

As Wayne, @dadsbee, posted, anyone with questions about products, you can email the business at the email as listed above. Todd, Cheryl or Becky will most likely be the one that will be reading or responding to the email. If you prefer, you can email me directly to my personal account at [email protected]. Due to issues with spam and hacking, some of the emails or calls still get sent into our spam folder. For some reason, my personal messages over on the FABO site always gets kicked over into the spam folder. Hopes that this helps!
