Beware of parts scammer- 66/67 Charger rear bumper

Morning folks, just want to issue a friendly heads up about an online scammer. A few months back on my local kijiji I was contacted by a user who had a rear bumper for sale in Calgary. Their names was Jessica and Jim Robotyn and the email used was probably a fly by night. Being as naive as I could be I e transfered them two transfers in good faith after they gave me the UPS quote, luckily one bounced back and they did not get. I treated it like a lesson in life and less $300 bucks did a Homer Simpson Duh Today on this site I got a message to contact a fellow who had one for sale, strangely the pictures he sent were the EXACT same ones the folks from Calgary sent. I called him on it and he has since went dark and the message I recieved on here has since disspepeared.
I dont want anyone else to be scammed and be silly like me, its such a hard to find part and it got the best of me

IIRC those names sound slightly familiar from an old KIJIJI post a few years ago,where they had parts for sale. There were some complaints. I could be wrong.

No kidding, I should have heard the alarm bells when they wanted two seperate transfers. Something to do with bank ect its embarrasing but if it keeps the buggers at bay. I contacted kijiji and added any info I had for the RCMP here prolly a futile excercise but these cars cost alot to keep going

Hi Mike, actually the user and message have dissepeared entirely but I think those pics I put up will keep them at bay. The wife and I searched all over to see if we could locate the source of them but no dice here.

He is probably gone from here because someone else reported him and the staff and the software took all his activity from the site. We can't get rid of scammers here unless someone turns them in. I can't access your personal messages. If you don't report them we don't know.

PLease just hit the report button. Don't send a message to the staff or post on a forum. Like I said, we need the issue reported so we can quickly and easily shut the scammer down. Report the issue using the report button.
