Big block 383 rear main bolts

Just wondering if anyone knows what size the rear main seal cap bolts are on a stock big block. They look like some 12 point 9 or 10 mil? Not sure if I have the right socket.

They are standard, not metric. 3/8 socket if i recall correctly.

Ok , cool thanks. I replaced them with allen bolts on my 440 . I hate trying to find oddball sockets like this one.

Not an oddball size. It's just a 3/8's 12 point.

But it IS thin walled 3/8 12pt... my regular 3/8 12pt was to friggin thick and had to go get one too at the time. I keep it in a safe place now so next time I can forget where the hell the safe place is! lolol

By oddball I mean, not every common socket set has one. I ended up finding one in a stash of old tools I have.
