I'm looking for a big block 727 trans and converter for my road runner. Stock or upgraded, rebuildable core or ready to go. Thanks.

i have one out of a 1968 Dodge 383 2barrel carb, also have all internal parts to make it a heavy duty trans. Also have stock converter. Valve body is missing shift detent ball and spring. Where are you located?

I am in Indiana, so it would be costly to ship.

Are you looking for an original 68' Roadrunner trans, or any BB 727?

Any bb 727 that will fit with the factory driveshaft. I'm not worried about it being original. Just that it's a bb trans with the 18" tailshaft and slip yolk.

Yeah, shipping would probably destroy any deal we could make.

Dang, too bad you don't live near Utah. I have one you can have, I'm moving and just need it out of the garage.

I've looked all over craigslist in my area. Many don't list that it's a bb or sb trans, others claim it's rebuilt recently but is covered in oil/dirt, others just look like they've been just painted black. And the one that I thought would be ok wouldn't respond to me in any way.

I have a 727 trans from a 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus. Car came with a 400 2 bbl from factory. I do not know the status of the working condition as I bought the whole car as a parts car. Trans./t convereter is still hanging in the car with the motor out but it is still hooked up with the drive shaft and I was able to select the gears with the floor shifter when I transported it on a car trailer.

I am located in Las Vegas if you ever make the trip like most do from S. Cal.

Thanks, Bryan

I have a deal pending right now, I'll know for sure at the end of the day sunday.

I would recommend looking for a 440 Transmission, as they are more heavy duty then the 383 2 BBLmodels.

No problem, glad to help.
