can i use some big disc brakes that i pulled from a 73 plymouth fury, on a 68 dodge coronet that has drums now??? any info appreciated

I'm pretty sure that the 73 Fury was a B body based car. The Gran Fury was a C body though.
The parts will work just fine. There has been SOME controversy over the years regarding the use of the 73 and later disc spindle/knuckle from B body cars as well as the Aspen/Volare/LeBaron/Diplomat/5th Avenue versions. They are 3/8" taller than the preferred 73-76 A body spindle. The taller spindle was thought to pose a risk of over-angling the upper ball joint on compression, leading to breakage. 95% of the gearheads out there feel that it is a NON issue.
Be CAREFUL when routing the brake hoses. Keep them clear of the lower control arms and tie rods.
