Getting ready to install the rear glass in the 69 Charger like a lot of stuff on the car this has been messed with before some of the rollers have been replaced but it doesn't look like the whole assembly has been taken out
I'm not sure if how to the large nuts and set screw/bolt work. or if it's as simple as that, the repair manual says loosen the nuts turn the adjuster Bolt clockwise or counterclockwise to make your adjustments but it doesn't say if it's just regular right hand thread, and the rubber grommet is throwing me off a bit.
I searched old forums and post , got some good info but no one got down to the nitty-gritty on those track adjusters and how they work.
These are super tight and I don't want to damage anything by turning them the wrong way.
The top of the rear track on driver side is almost touching the inside panel no visible rubber grommet like the others. The right side track is standing off about
3/ 8" ands looks normal .

What rubber grommet are you talking about. The adjusters are right hand thread.

I think the screw inside of your big nut is a eccentric/cam. I might have a pic.
No it is not. It is a simple screw adjuster.

I say it's a rubber grommet there's some kind of black donut on the ones that I can see , inside on the adjuster stems . Might just be a build-up of grease and dirt. If I can't get them loose I'll get back tomorrow with some photos

Chris at Junkerup on youtube has a good vid of disassembling these things. You can see how they go in and all the parts involved. It might help you work it all out.

There is no rubber grommets used. There are wide rubber band like rings on the front and rear up stop brackets. There are black paper gaskets and rubber rings where the glass itself attaches to the main frame.
 
Yeah I got it cleaned up can see that area where the track stud goes through . no grommet, it was just Caked Up with undercoating and grease and grime still haven't got the adjusters loose got them soaking with penetrating oil I guess those studs turn on those tracks hopefully these aren't sezed

Yes they are, I just can't remember where...Classic industries I think.
 
I finally found a picture on eBay of one of those track Adjusters disassembled out of the car now I got it through my thick head how it works and how to take it apart hopefully mine will break free
 
The old jam nut double threaded Hollow Bolt that I've never seen trick
