I decoded the fender tag of my 67 Coronet R/T and the part that says

U B S reads
B---B

Under the "S" (B) in UBS is decoded as "black horizontal accent stripe"

Is this the stripe that runs across the rear end or what? Any help and description is appreciated.

I was always under the impression that it was the painted part on the upper door panel, but I could be wrong.

I do believe it is the pinstriping that runs down both of the body contour lines on each side of the car.

Available in black, white, red or blue.

Look under 'Side Paint Stripe'.

RIGHT ON!

Glad to see others using this wealth of info referenced to help others out.

It is a great resource to educate your self on how these old Mopars were available when new.

Good job.
